Tour Description
Experience a unique journey visiting the last remaining Inca rope bridge in the world, built and renewed annually using the same traditions, techniques, and materials used over 600 years ago.
🕒 Detailed Itinerary
- 4:00 a.m.: Pick-up from your hotel in downtown Cusco and departure for the province of Canas. The drive will allow you to appreciate the sunrise over the Andean landscapes and mountains of southern Peru.
- 7:30 a.m.: Arrival at the community of Quehue. Enjoy a traditional country breakfast featuring local products.
- 8:30 a.m.: Start of the guided hike to the Qeswachaca Bridge. The tour is gentle and easy, with stops to explain the history of the area and the work of the local communities.
- 10:30 a.m.: Arrival at the Qeswachaca Bridge. You will learn how it is built each year using ichu grass fibers, visit viewpoints with breathtaking views of the Apurímac River, and cross it accompanied by your guide.
- 1:00 p.m.: Return to the community of Quehue, where you will be served a hearty lunch featuring traditional regional dishes.
- 2:30 p.m.: Start of the return trip to the city of Cusco.
- 5:30 p.m.: Arrival and drop-off at your hotel or agreed-upon location in Cusco.

- Altitude: The bridge is located at approximately 3,600 meters above sea level, with moderate inclines along the hike.

- Note: The hike takes approximately 2 hours round trip and is suitable for people in good physical condition.
